A Peaceful Hotel Just Five Minutes from Bustling Thamel

It is rare to find a place that offers such a profound sense of silence while being only minutes away from the city's lively center. The highlight for our family was the oversized hot tub. The water temperature was spot-on — warm enough to soothe tired muscles without being overwhelming. The herbal tea served was a thoughtful touch that capped off the experience perfectly.

From arriving to leaving, the staff were so very welcoming and warm. The rooms are very clean and very comfortable. The hotel has a restaurant and serves great food that is very well priced. The hotel is quite central, a short drive from the airport. It's also a peaceful and pleasant place to stay. Many thanks to all the staff who made me very welcome and comfortable.

Really close to Thamel market. Chef and staff is really accommodating and gentle. Had a really good time with hotel manager — saw cricket, bonded and got tips on where to visit as a tourist. Cleanliness is across all the corners of room, hotel, cafe and even kitchen is top-notch.

Shout-out to HSJ's hotel, located at a short walking distance from the Thamel shopping area in Kathmandu. We stayed there for six nights — rooms were clean, staff were friendly and our stay was comfortable. We were a party of 9.

Very nice, clean, and staff is friendly and pleasant and try to satisfy the guest. I enjoyed the welcome drink and also the spa massage, also nice view from top rooms, and good prices. The restaurant and spa were rather cheap than expensive. 🙂

The food at the restaurant is surprisingly affordable,we had a great stay. Enjoyed their sauna, jaccuzi, steam room and spa facilities. Overall a great hotel with great views and a lot of open space.

Location was really convenient, 10 minutes walk from Thamel and all the shops. The rooms were clean and tidy and the beds really confy! Also, the staff was very helpfull and tried to get us early check in, even though we hadn't requested in advance. Breakfast was really tasty!! Well done!

Yes it is a nice property with good location very near to Thamel. It’s just walking distance about 10 minutes. It’s purely residential area. Very safe location indeed.

Good staff, location, bigger and nice rooms. The location of the hotel is perfect. Walikg disatnace to Thamel and Tourist bus stop. Mr. Sarjo was very cooperative. He gave very good guidance and was extremely supportive. Our kathmandu trip was perfect and a lot of cresit goes to him also.

This is the Himalyan Suites Hotel, where I always stay whenever I go to Kathmandu, Nepal. Especially, the friendly service of the front desk staff Milan and Sudip Rimal, and the kindness of the security guards made this trip a happy one.

A western style hotel with marvelous spa and restaurant. But the spa massage service is closed very early before 9:00. Lots of westerners live there. I have a wonderful experience here.

Room 10 minutes walk from the heart of Thamel. Room had good balcony view and breakfast provided was good for the price. Will stay again for short stay in Katmandu.

I stayed at this hotel for two nights. The room was clean and the staff were very friendly and helpful. There is a small bakery and bar attached to it with an outside area to sit at, but it is not the most peaceful of places.

A very good stay in Kathmandu! The staff is very helpful - and we felt very well treated by them during our visit. E.g. we had been on a morning Mountain flight, where they had given us a breakfast package. They also gave us breakfast when we got back from the flight. The rooms are comfy and the breakfast is fully OK - and with superb coffee. We definitely recommend this hotel!

The staff were fantastic both in the restaurant and the hotel itself, no job was too big not too small. They even arranged fantastic trips for me at better rates than any other operator. The Himalayan suite is just a stone’s throw from the Thamel district (5 minutes walk), but is just far enough that you’ll be able to get some sleep. I will be back again.

This is a very nice property with it's own SPA, restaurant with good food, bakery, a travel conceirge, and good room service. It's a family owned and runned property and they personally ensure that guests are at their comfort during their stay. Very friendly staff and value for money pricing for rooms and food. Highly recommend this for solo traveler, young, and families as the property can cater everyone.
